Screen is a full-screen window manager that multiplexes a physical terminalbetween several processes, typically interactive shells. Each virtualterminal provides the functions of the DEC VT100 terminal and, in addition, several control functions from the ANSI X3.64 (ISO 6429) and ISO 2022standards (e.g., insert/delete line and support for multiple character sets). There is a scrollback history buffer for each virtual terminal and acopy-and-paste mechanism that allows the user to move text regions betweenwindows. When screen is called, it creates a single window with a shell init (or the specified command) and then gets out of your way so that you canuse the program as you normally would. Then, at any time, you can create new(full-screen) windows with other programs in them (including more shells),kill the current window, view a list of the active windows, turn outputlogging on and off, copy text between windows, view the scrollback history, switch between windows, etc. All windows run their programs completelyindependent of each other. Programs continue to run when their window iscurrently not visible and even when the whole screen session is detachedfrom the users terminal.

I am trying to connect my laptop to a TV. I can't shrink the screen size using Intel Graphics Command Center as far as I have seen. I know I was able to do exactly that using the old Intel Graphics Control Panel. Is there any way to do this in Command Center, or is there another app (I don't care from who) that can shrink a display to match the corners correctly?

Your second suggestion also cannot be used as intel graphics control panel is no longer useable with the new intel graphics drivers. I know that screen shrinking is possible because of that program had a feature for it, but when I updated my computer new drivers were installed and I can't use the old program anymore.

I'm sorry that you can't execute my advice on your computer. I checked this on NUC7i7DNHE and both methods works. I've on this computer installed the new DCH driver, Intel Graphics Command Center and Inte Graphics Control Panel. Please see the attached images.

I've tried all possible resolutions, and there is always some kind of clipping involved. I've also tried the best looking resolutions while also resizing different things on the screen (text, apps, etc.). This also does not work.

I've recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I'm encountering some difficulties with a task that I think many of you might have experience with. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to record my screen on Windows 11 with sound. While I've found the built-in screen recording tool in Windows 11 to be quite straightforward for capturing video, I'm struggling to include audio in my recordings.

I've done some basic troubleshooting like checking my microphone and system sound settings, but I haven't had much luck so far. It's crucial for my work to create high-quality screen recordings that include both the screen activity and the accompanying audio, so any advice, tips, or recommendations from this community would be greatly appreciated.

What I appreciated most was how it simplified the whole process. It turned a frustrating task into something straightforward and, dare I say, enjoyable. The difference in the quality of my recordings was night and day, and it relieved a lot of the stress I was feeling.

Screen recording on Windows 11 with audio should be straightforward once everything's set up correctly. If you're still stuck, don't hesitate to reach out to the community with any error messages or specific issues you're encountering.

ShareX - ShareX is a free and open-source screen recording software with plenty of features and customization options. It can capture video and audio, along with screenshots and GIFs.

ActivePresenter - ActivePresenter is a free screen recording software that is designed for creating software demos, tutorials, and e-learning content. It can capture video, audio, and webcam footage.

To use these software to record your screen with audio, simply download and install the software on your Windows 11 PC, and follow the instructions to start recording. You may need to adjust some settings to enable audio recording or configure your microphone input.

PowerPoint's screen recording tool is integrated into the application, eliminating the need for third-party software for screen capture. This feature is particularly useful for educators, trainers, and professionals who want to create engaging presentations that include demonstrations, tutorials, or walkthroughs of software applications. You can record your entire screen or select specific areas to capture, and you also have the option to record audio from your microphone and the system audio.

Recording your screen on Windows 11 with sound can be accomplished by using the built-in tool, Snipping Tool, which has been updated to include screen recording features. First, ensure that your system's sound settings are properly configured to capture the audio you intend to record, whether it's system sounds, microphone input, or both.

To start, open the Snipping Tool from the Start menu or by searching for it. In the Snipping Tool's interface, you'll find an option to switch from image capture mode to screen recording mode. Before you begin recording, you can choose the audio source you want to include in your recording via the app's settings. Ensure the correct audio source is selected to capture the sound accompanying your screen recording.

Once you're ready to record, select the area of the screen you wish to capture or choose to record the full screen. Then, click the record button to start capturing both your screen and the selected audio. The Snipping Tool allows you to pause and resume the recording as needed, giving you flexibility in what you capture.

After you've finished recording, you can stop the recording, and the file will be automatically saved to your chosen location. The Snipping Tool also provides basic options for trimming your video before saving, allowing you to remove unwanted sections from the beginning or end of your recording. This built-in functionality in Windows 11 makes it convenient and straightforward to record your screen with sound without the need for additional software.

Step 3: Before you start recording, ensure your computer's speakers are loud enough for the microphone on your smartphone to pick up the audio clearly. Then, use your phone's camera app to start recording.

Step 4: While recording, carry out the tasks you want to capture on your Windows 11 computer. Once done, stop the recording and save the video on your phone. You might need to transfer the file to your computer for editing or sharing.

Thank you for creating an app that removes me from the role of constant enforcer in our home. For example, we let our daughter choose the screen time limits with us yesterday, according to the values we have all been trying to adhere to as a family. And last night, she peacefully reached her daily limit. No pleading, no reminding, no guilt.

Love this app! With Screen Time I can control when, how long the tablet is used, and what apps are allowed and not allowed. One of my favourite aspects of this app is that I can create tasks that give them more time when the tasks are completed. It's easy to use, and helps limit their screen time!

Nothing at all works. I have all the latest drivers for the samsung monitor. It is incredibly frustrating as my company has a "cameras on all the time" policy, and I always need to share my screen, and I can do neither with Zoom. I have none of these problems with Google Meet or Teams.

Open the Zoom app Settings and head to the Video tab. Now, in the right pane, click on Advanced and expand the dropdown of the Video Rendering Method. Now relaunch the Zoom app and check if it is working fine. If not, restart your system and upon restart, check if the Zoom app is clear of the screen sharing issue.

It looks like the original response was taken verbatim from this blog, -center/fix-zoom-quit-unexpectedly-screen-share , which has the same incomplete response. A separate blog, -quit-unexpectedly-screen-share/ has the suggestion to set the video rendering to Direct3D9

Queries are the methods that Testing Library gives you to find elements on thepage. There are several types of queries ("get", "find","query"); the difference between them is whether the query will throw an errorif no element is found or if it will return a Promise and retry. Depending onwhat page content you are selecting, different queries may be more or lessappropriate. See the priority guide for recommendations on how tomake use of semantic queries to test your page in the most accessible way.
