Role: IAM with Ping experience
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Remote)
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
· Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience working with Ping Identity solutions
· Minimum 10 years of experience in identity management or related IAM fields
· Direct, hands‑on experience implementing and supporting multiple PingOne Identity components (PingFederate, PingDaVinci, PingOne Verify, etc.)
· Strong Java development experience for custom plug‑ins, adapters, and integration logic
· Experience configuring Identity Provider (IdP) and Service Provider (SP) components for federated integrations
· Deep understanding of IAM protocols: SAML, WS‑Federation, OpenID Connect, OAuth, LDAP, SCIM, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and HTML
· Experience with adaptive MFA, identity lifecycle orchestration, and customer identity flows
· Ability to continuously improve CIAM user experience while maintaining strong security controls
· Collaborate with product managers and development teams (onshore/offshore) using Agile methodologies
· Strong technical expertise in authentication and authorization technologies, standards, and modern patterns
· Ability to develop and execute customer identity strategies including registration, authentication, authorization, and profile management
· Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
· Experience creating APIs consumable by web apps, SPAs, mobile apps, and B2B systems
· Ability to communicate complex IAM risks and security concepts in clear, actionable terms
· Strong experience with directories, SSO, federation, and delegated administration
· Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions is a plus
· Experience architecting IAM solutions for on‑premise and cloud environments (Azure or GCP preferred)
