Role : Guidewire Policy center Developer

Location:  Chicago IL Onsite

Contract

 

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and end-to-end implementation experience. The ideal candidate should have led development teams, designed technical solutions, and delivered multiple Guidewire implementations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with 6+ years of Guidewire experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC).
• Experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle Guidewire implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire configuration including:
• Gosu
• PCF
• Data Model
• Rules Engine
• Batch Processes
• Integrations
• Hands-on Guidewire development experience (not just theoretical knowledge).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Guidewire integrations.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Cloud experience.
• Guidewire Certification.
• CI/CD, Git, Jenkins.
• Java and Spring Boot knowledge.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter development activities.
• Design technical solutions and application architecture.
• Perform code reviews and mentor team members.
• Develop Guidewire configurations and integrations.
• Participate in requirement analysis and solution design.
• Support production issues and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
