Role : Snowflake Developer

Location:  Plano TX Onsite

Duration: 6+ months

Experience 10+ Years minimum 

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, SQL development, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning solutions
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Snowflake environments
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Monitor and optimize database performance, storage, and query efficiency
• Support data migration and modernization projects
• Create technical documentation and maintain development standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Proficiency in SQL and database development
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, or SSIS
• Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or Java is preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with data integration and orchestration tools
• Experience with CI/CD and version control tools like Git
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Snowflake Certification
• Experience with Kafka or real-time data pipelines
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools
• Experience with Airflow or dbt
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Snowflake/Data Engineering projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
