Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in SWIFT Payments to support payment transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering business requirements, analyzing payment workflows, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for SWIFT payment initiatives.
• Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define payment solutions.
• Analyze current payment processes and recommend improvements.
• Support implementation and migration of SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX, ISO 20022).
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
• Work with development and QA teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support issue analysis, defect resolution, and production releases.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and payment industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong experience with SWIFT Payments and cross-border payment processing.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 MX messaging standards.
• Experience with payment systems such as SWIFT Alliance, Fedwire, CHIPS, or SEPA.
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
