Hello,

After I 'Bind' I can see all the methods available but there are no
objects and the drop down menu for TabItemList is blank.

What have I done wrong?!

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark... I think I know what's going on here. Did you, by any chance, have an older copy of WW.DataServices installed?

First of all, if you haven't already, you have to have the new version of WW.DataServices (available on the site now).

Secondly, do the following steps to clear out your dynamic assembly cache
  • Make sure all instances of Visual Studio are closed
  • Browse to C:\temp and delete all of the .dll files in there (if it complains about other processes and doesn't let you delete one or more of them, you might have to do something annoying like log off and then back in to release those handles) - basically, make sure all those dlls get removed. These are dynamic assemblies generated by our tool that handle the proxying to the web services.
  • Try again... remember, make sure your back end web service is running when you try to bind :)

Hello, thanks, that fixed my problem. But now I have another!
Everything binds and I can browse the site and see the tabs (very
pretty by the way!) but there is an error. I will check over my steps
again.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
