But it still was some kind of adventure. But do´nt worry, I will not
complain again.
Although there should be some sober consideration, I think:
If WebVZ should become common, there should be a good commented
installation routine for Ruby,
guiding people through all the warnings and suggestions.
WebVz will not start untill evrything is allrigt with Ruby. Then, itself
can be startet with a few clicks and that is, what people want.
Going through all the trouble by installing Ruby, might just prevent them.
Because we can not do the work of Ruby´s developers, there should be at
least a good guideline.
But this is ajob, sombody better than I for this, should do.
I really do´nt have much time, because I have to manage make some bread
by now, but I will put ev´ry free hour into making some nice design for
WebVZ.
So let me ask you some questions:
I know nothing about Ruby, but I guess, you have created WebVZ with it.
Are the templates you are using, also done with Ruby?
I want to download the WebVZ folder down, into Dreamweaver. So if you
have a list with the link-structure of the application, could you please
send it to me? It would save some time. If you don´t, I find out myself.
As I could read at google-group, you are planning to to expand the app
with a user/custumer interface and so on.
It would be nice, if you could keep it as simpel and powerfull as it is now.
Before I landed at yours, I´ve tried out diffrent tools, and found, that
they become to inconvinient, when it commes to handling the reseller
and user interfaces/accounts. I think that people wait for a tool which
simplifys that.
Okay, so far by now.
Thanks again and a hole lot of success
