Position: BI Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Qualifications:
· Understand existing business processes
· Analyze functionality of existing decision support and executive information systems
· Understand subject matter
· Interview end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance
· Work with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
· Validate that BI meets requirements and service level agreements
· Anticipate what users will want
· Solid experience and expert proficiency with SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 or higher
· Experience designing, developing and implementing complex WebI & DeskI Reports and Dashboards
· Strong knowledge in Complex Universe Design.
· Strong knowledge in Data warehouse principles and concepts
· Should have a good understanding of ETL (OWB Preferably)
· Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements
· Assess risk
· Manage expectations
· Understand information architecture
· Understand technical architecture
· Understand organizational architecture
· Should have experience with Onshore-Offshore Coordination - capable of effectively coordinating with offshore and managing customer expectations.
· Possess strong communication and client management skills.
