Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Duration: 7 months
Location: Carlsbad, CA, US

Qualifications:

Project Summary:
The client is building out test and production facilities to support satellite based Internet service. The project team will build two test lab environments in the US and 1 facility in Australia. The environment will include Windows and Linux servers, HP Storage devices, and Oracle Database servers. We are looking for strong candidates with hands-on experience and the ability to deliver in a high pressure environment.
This role is for a technical leader with strong hands-on Linux with skills. The Senior System Adminsitrator must be technically proficient and able to direct / assist other team members.

General Duties/Tasks:
Some of the duties for this position include:
- Implementing AD or some Central Auth system
- Designing the installation process for Linux hosts to be automated (Post install scripts, Kickstart, etc)
- Developing installation scripts to automate the install process of Linux Systems
- Setting up the Certificate authentication
- Configuring SSO/Centralized auth on various equipment
- Setting up the Linux Clusters
- Designing/configuring DNS, DHCP, and other network services (SYSLOG)
- Helping the rest of the team do the server builds when not working on something more critical.
