Hi All,

I got a call yesterday evening offering me a springboard place in the Higher Diploma in Web Tech . Well done Dec and others who finally got through. But the application has to be in by next Monday and I no longer qualify as I signed off. Just in case any others of you did not receive the call and wish to do it .Though a bit last minute to say the least.

Hi Robert,

I have signed off too because now I'm working but I've been accepted so you don't have to be on the dole to finish it! That was part of the deal that you can get work & still continue to finish the course, and that's why it's at night etc!

It's going to be tough working & doing it too but it'll be worth it to do it!

Hi Declan,

They are adding us to the new class but we only have to do the second semester in September! So it's also being funded for us thru ict if we have completed the certificate successfully! But everyone eligible should've been or will be contacted by the college admissions!
You need to go thru the bluebrick website & include the certificate details in the education section because then they know we are exempt from semester 1!
You also need to apply before Monday the 2nd April 12pm!

Can you circulate this to the class & tell them they need to contact admissions to clarify they can apply & notification?

Go to bluebrick.ie click ICT skills and scroll down to NCI web it's the second option there the one with out cloud and make sure you put in that you did the first semester

Bah... I think it's gonna be too much for me to take on at the same time. Gonna stick with DIT guys. I'm dead pleased about how we've all moved on and I'm wishing you all loads of luck and success in the future. Hopefully we'll cross paths at some point in the future.

That is JUST what I was going to ask. I noticed there was a load of repetition on the 1st semester. Anyone any idea when S2 is running until? I'm thinking of doing it in conjunction with S1 of a masters.... Am I mad ..? Probably :/

Yeah... I've paid for my deposit and I'm hoping I get the euromillions to pay for the rest in September. That could totally happen... right?
Offset was the dogs b*llocks. Definitely recommend it, even if the tickets are a bit spendy. I learned heaps and it was really interesting. They did little talks outside of the big conference with illustrators and communication designers etc. Next year... do it.

Drinks soon for sure. I miss everything. I'm always up the walls. Pick a day and I'll keep it free :D
