Goodwe inverters

Hi,

I was wondering if there are plans for supporting Goodwe inverters. I assume that when I plug in an rPi (running Websolarlog) and connect it to an RS485 port on the inverter, WSL won't be able to interpret it's signals at the moment as e.g. SMA outputs different signals?

Websolarlog does not support devices except a few. Wsl supports the tools reading the inverters. So if you have an third party application which connects to the device and returns output to the console. Then we can write support for it.

So I have to provide the serial output to WSL myself?

Yes, it is impossible to support all device with native code. So we implement the output of the third party software.

Awesome! My installation will arrive in a few weeks. I'll start experimenting with this asap by that time :)
