Hi there,

There are several people that have issue using the new communication manager. Can you give some more information on how you've designed the communications manager. To you it may seem straight forward but for me its not quite clear.

When you want te communicate with a device first you have to create a communication.
This information has to be provided.

Communication: New:
name:,
uri:,
port:,
timeout:,
optional:

What do you mean by uri? Is this the command that will be executed? Why than specify a port?
Can you explain how these fields are used an perhaps give an example for every device currently supported?

Because of fequent SD card failures i've decided to move all logging and data to another device and mounting the SD card on my Raspberry Pi as read-only. This changes all default paths.

Regards,
Arko

uri can be an path or an webaddress.
Port can be the http port or the device port.

It al depends on the device it is used with.
