Recently we added support for Open Weather Map (OWM) to WebSolarLog.

If you have any question about this; feel free to post them.

I like t try this :-)
Can I update my WSL at this time after the 'crash' last time?
The current WSL trunk I run doesn't show the weather options.
(and I've corrected some text ;)  )
Tx
André

Thanx for your corrections and time!

Please wait a day with updating.
Last night we made alot of changes and we first want to see if everything is still working.

Ok I'll wait with the updates.
That's why I asked first ;-)

At the moment it is "safe" to update to the latest trunk.
We changed allot, but it seems to be ""stable"".

Keep in mind that trunk releases("nightlies") are not support!!

I have 'survived' the update and a weather device was created, but I'm afraid it's not running because I can't see the inverters on the Device page ...
The test page tells me Wsl is not running :(

Try the "force page reload" button on the bottom of the page and/or clean the browsers cache.

Force page reload doesn't change anything (only available in Wsl Admin pages).
The dashboard shows the last data it got of 14u10.
I get false (this is bad) on the test page so the database seems to be stalled ...

One more thing:
sqlite: -NOT- loaded
SQLlite version: 3.7.7.1 (needs to be >= 3.7.11) maybe gives some troubles.

I believe your WSL is running on a Shared Server and therefore there is no PID file.
Probably there is a problom with the Diehl part (we made a big code change/refactor on the device part).

The SQLite version is the version that runs on the shared server. So you need to ask the admin. to update this (i doubt if he can/will do this, because it runs probably multiple sites).

I've updated to the stable version and it seems to run fine now.
Most important for me is logging to pvoutput and that works too.

Martin,

a funny thing happened to me today: I tried the new version, but now it seems I cannot add devices anymore. Just to be sure I made a clean setup of websolarlog and I'm experiencing the same behaviour.

@gmkl:
This bug is solved in the latest trunk.

Yesterday i added a weather "widget" to the trunk.
Please give us feedback on this.

Can i try a trunk or is it still risky?

Its always risky to update to a Trunk release ;-)

We are working on a new Stable release and the current Trunk is "OK".

That's not the answer I'm waiting for :)
I updated to the trunk and this time it worked at once, pvoutputs gets updates too.

Trunk is always risky and everybody should know that :) Trunk is for testing and not for production systems.

Nice to hear and have fun :D

This has been fixed in the current trunk ticket #10 ( http://tracker.websolarlog.com/view.php?id=10 )

Hi

I can see the weather data in WSL but shouldn't it also appear on Pvoutput?
In the settings I used the same id and api key as my inverter's.

We are not sending it to PVoutput.
First we want to test the OpenWeatherMap connection.
When its stable, we can send the weather data to PVoutput.
