We are looking for SAN Admin for one of our client at Erlanger, KY. Please let me know your interest.

 

SAN Admin

Location: Erlanger, KY

Duration: 12+ Months, renewable annually

 

Required Skills:

·         3 years supporting enterprise data storage from Hitachi and NetApp (5 years preferred).

·         3 years supporting enterprise SAN switching from Brocade.

·         3 years supporting and managing remote sites and resources (5 years preferred).

·         2 years in vendor management (3+ years preferred).

·         2 years supporting SAN attached backup & recovery devices (tape drives, libraries).

·         2 years supporting NetBackup v7.x (3+ years preferred with additional v6.5 experience)

·         Over 1 year of experience in SAN storage replication (3 years preferred).

·         2 years of experience with various UNIX operating systems required (3-5 years preferred).

·         2 years supporting project teams (internal / external) (3-5 years preferred).

·         Strong verbal and written communications skills are required.

·         24 x 7 on call support is required.

·         Some weekend work and travel is required.

·         Process documentation skills are required.

·         Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Excel, Word) required (Visio is a plus).

·         Storage virtualization and file share virtualization skills are a plus (Hitachi USP/VSP, F5/Acopia).

·         Programming skills are a plus (shell scripting and formal languages).
