Position      :       SAP Netweaver Admin  

Location     :       Ft Lauderdale, FL 

Duration     :       5 month contract w/ extensions  

Must-haves

SAP system troubleshooting, capacity planning, tuning and application server load balancing

Day-to-day monitoring and administration of SAP systems. 

Basic to intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN/SAN, server hardware, operating systems, and configurations.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Web AS, EP, Netweaver, UNIX, and Oracle. Comprehensive experience with transport process and design; homogeneous system copies, installations, kernel updates, patches and upgrades.

Ability to analyze and solve problems of a complex nature in a timely manner.

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong teamwork, communication, and good writing skills.  

Role:

This person will serve as a SAP Netweaver Administration responsible for the operation and maintenance of our client’s SAP landscape consisting of sandbox, development, and QA. 

Secondary functions may include support to Production Operation Basis Team with the SAP Productive landscape; configuring and administration of the underlying database(s); SAP Basis operating system (Netweaver) support; network sizing; performance and management; technology hardware sizing; desktop requirements; printers / other output devices; security (network, database, application); data archiving; backup & restore; configuration transport management; SAP hot pack / support pack deployment and test, and configuration / maintenance of end-user security.
