Hi Phil,

There were some (quite random regression) problems with 0.6 which hopefully will go away in 0.7. So far, 0.7Alpha1 proves to be crash free in the regression tests but it is hard to know for sure unless people start actively testing the Alpha and RC releases on their platforms.

From the information that you provide it is difficult to tell what is going on. I need a proper crash report with the actual program stack trace and perhaps any additional debug information. I realise that unless you are familiar with the xul platform you won't be able to provide this information. We are soon going to enable automatic crash reports to help in this particular area.

I apologise for the inconvenience and I will personally make sure that this problem goes away with the next release which should be out quite soon. For now I can recommend to update to the latest source trunk, which is in development but stable, with quite a few improvements. I can send you the instructions how to do that if you need them.

Thanks,
pdp

Hello!

Websecurify is a fantastic piece of software. It’s easy to use, and thoroughly scans applications. Unfortunately it crashes on every scan for me.

I’ve posted my issue on issue 26. Attached are screen shots from the crash. I’m running it on Windows XP SP3.

I would really appreciate any advice you have.

Thanks!

Phil Ernst
