Testing "Remember Me" functionality

Hi All,

I've been using cucumber / webrat to test my application, and was
wondering how to test "Remember Me".
Ideally, I would be able to simulate closing the browser and then re-
opening it, but I would like to avoid the overhead of selenium for the
moment.

Any ideas?
