Hello everyone,

web.py 0.40 has been released today.

Thanks a lot to the work of @iRedMail, @cclauss and the other contributors for making this release possible. I must say, this release wouldn't have been possible without @iRedMail taking the initiative and the support of @cclauss. Thanks a ton!!

You can install the latest version of web.py using:

    pip install web.py

This release supports Python 2.7 and Python 3. Support for Python versions before 2.7 has been dropped.

The website and the documentation is not updated yet and will be updated very soon.

You can find the all the changes that went into to this release at:

Please try it out with your web.py applications and report issues if you find any.
