On Monday, a U. S. District Court Judge Robert Sweet has finally approved an overall $23,875 payment in favor of Pamela Smart against her claim of unfair treatment by the New York jail staff.

The suit was filed in the year 2006 and both Pamela’s attorney Nicholas Booke and New York attorney general’s office were in pursuit of the issue since December 2008.

Pamela Smart had filed the lawsuit when her almost nude pictures appeared in the National Enquirer. $23,875 payment has been approved for Pamela who’s serving life sentence for murder of Gregory, her husband through her teenage boyfriend William Flynn in 1991.
