Methods: The study was carried out at the National Homeopathic Hospital of the Secretary of Health, Mexico City, Mexico and included 41 patients: 3 men and 38 women, mean age 54 14.89 years, diagnosed with IBS as defined by the Rome IV Diagnostic criteria. Single individualized medicine was prescribed for each patient, taking into account all presenting symptoms, clinical history, and personality via repertorization using RADAR Homeopathic Software (archibel, Isnes, Belgium). The homeopathic drugs were used at fifty-millesimal (LM) potency per the Mexican Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia starting with 0/1 and increasing every month (0/2, 0/3, 0/6). Severity scales were applied at the beginning of treatment and every month for 4 months of treatment. The evaluation was based on comparing symptom severity scales during treatment.
Results: The results demonstrated that 100% of patients showed some improvement and 63% showed major improvement or were cured. The study showed a significant decrease in severity of symptom scores 3 months after treatment, with the pain score showing a decrease 1 month after treatment. The results highlight the importance of individualized medicine regimens using LM potency, although the early decrease in pain observed could also be due to the fact that Lycopodium clavatum and Nux vomica were the main homeopathic medicine prescribed, and these medicines contain many types of alkaloids, which have shown significant analgesic effects on pain caused by physical and chemical stimulation.

Several studies examining individualized homeopathic treatment of fatigue in adults have shown promising results in diverse populations7-9 in addition to cancer patients.10,11 If effective, individualized homeopathy may have advantages compared with other interventions. Given the extremely diluted nature of homeopathic substances, there is little chance of drug interaction with chemotherapy. A systematic review evaluating homeopathic medicines used to prevent or treat side effects of cancer treatments concluded that no serious adverse events or interactions with conventional treatment were noted.12 Previous studies have shown that homeopathic treatments are well tolerated in adults and in children.13,14
The study medication was administered in 1 of 2 forms: (1) homeopathic medicine embedded in 2.5-mm-diameter lactose/sucrose globules or (2) 30% ethanol-based liquid homeopathic remedy. The homeopathic remedy was administered as either 1 globule sublingually or 0.2 mL orally (depending on the chosen formulation) up to 3 times per day. The homeopathic remedy or the homeopathic remedy potency could be changed on a daily basis during the course of treatment. However, only 1 homeopathic remedy and potency was administered at a given time.
Participants were asked to take the homeopathic medicine at least a half hour before or after food, beverages, or strong smelling substances. All conventional treatments, including counselling and exercise, and the use of other natural health products (other than homeopathy) were permitted. Participants were asked to refrain from taking other homeopathic substances while receiving study treatments and for 2 weeks following completion of homeopathic treatment.
Our results are consistent with those of Rostock et al,11 who observed a similar significant reduction in fatigue symptoms in the homeopathic care of an adult cancer patient population. Our safety data are also consistent with other studies showing a low incidence of adverse events.12 There were no serious adverse events attributed to homeopathy.

"Healing of beta cells after high dilution remedies reach them i.e. part of dead Beta cells come to life after the entrance of the remedies. After discontinuing homeopathic remedies, beta cells are attacked by the autoimmune particles and the need to insulin rises again. (My hypothesis) Patients always need Insulin and are prone to ketoacidosis and weight loss. It is associated with other auto immune diseases (>90% carry HLADR 3 and/or DR4). However in 80% of my patients the need to insulin decreased, and when they didn't use the remedies their numbers rose again and their need to insulin increased thereafter.
Eighty percent of the patients experienced better numbers of FBS and HgbA1c after taking homeopathic remedies including Phosphorus, Lachesis, Lycopodium, Natrium Muriaticum, Syzygium, Nux-vomica (Figure 2). More than 50% of the patients' parents reported better behavior and more compliance in addition to better FBS and A1c [1-4].
