Hi,

I'm looking to replace KeePassX with something that supports users and groups.

KeePassX can be configured to require both a password and a key file before access to passwords is granted.

Does WebPasswordSafe have anything similar to this?

Thanks,
Katherine

You could use client certificates with Tomcat. In Tomcat, the directive to look at is "clientAuth". This would require a certificate to connect to the tomcat server. You would then use your username/password to authentication to the application.

Gordon

Yes the next release version (already available in the trunk codebase) will support Google Authenticator app (user optionally enabled) and Duo Security (centrally enforced) in addition to the already supported RSA SecurID (although that isn't a free option).  While not implemented as a key file, they are all enterprise grade two-factor authentication technologies.
