Software Engineer / Back-End Developer

We are very keen on hiring talented people who learn quickly, are self-driven, hardworking and ready to go the extra mile. We are at the early stages of the startup and hence provides a wonderful environment for anyone who wants to take charge and work directly with the Co-Founders to build the platform ground up. While we start off by building the web and mobile platform we would soon be moving into data analytics and blockchain technology.

 

Description:

• Work closely with tech/product teams to develop the Tech Stack as per the requirements of the business
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic (Ruby on Rails)
  
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  
• Implementation of security and data protection
  
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
  
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
  
• Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
  
• Follow emerging technologies with an aim to develop skills in blockchain technology and data analytics

Requirements:

• A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++/Java/Python
  
• A working knowledge of Linux
  
• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
• Brilliant problem‐solving abilities
  
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced environment
  
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
  
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

While the below requirements are a definite plus, we believe they can be picked up, and are not necessary.

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  
• Development experience in Android and IoS.
• Experience using Amazon Web Service
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
  
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
• Any experience in using javascript technologies like React, Redux and React-Native

Benefits:

The compensation will comprise a competitive pay and starter equity* with 

a total CTC upto : 12-15LPA
