It is completely utilitarian (ie: not pretty), but it works well. The
code for Growl for Windows to natively support notify.io uses the same
underlying classes and is essentially done, but I am holding off on
releasing it quite yet since I am about to roll out the final version
of GfW and didnt want to introduce any new features right now. In the
meantime, this does the trick for me.
yeah, i checked out that list a few times (including this morning) and
there were never any discussions, so i didnt know if it was being used
or not. but i will get on it now so i can stay in the loop.
> PS: I released remindify.com last night as another cool use of notify.io
yeah, i have been playing with it a bit. not specifically related to
reminify, but is there a good way to identify a 'source wants
approval' notification vs. a normal notification? i had my listener
running when i created a reminder for the first time and i got the
message about how remindify needed approval - but i didnt grab the
JSON that was sent down, so i couldnt inspect it. is there anything
identifying about it that separates it from any other notification? (i
would like to pull out the icon from those messages to use as the
'application' (source) icon since each individual notification may use
a different icon).
