I am running weblogic server 9.2 . From workshop I tried to start a server
and
immeadiately got the following error:

ERROR: transport error 202: listen failed: Invalid argument
["transport.c",L41]
ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to inialize, TRANSPORT_INIT(510)
["debugInit.c","497]
JDWP exit error JVMTI_ERROR_INTERNAL<113>: No transports initialized

I guessed that the error meant port 510 was unavailable. I did a
netstat -a -n and
saw nothing on this port.

Would appreciate any help.

I was able to resolve this problem and started up the server by shutting off
my Mcafee personal firewall plus. This is too drastic of a solution.
With the firewall up
I went in and put 127.0.0.1 as a trusted IP ( 10.0.0.2 is already a trusted
IP ).
I open the ports 510,7001,7002,9092 for tcp incoming/outgoing and the
same for udp.
I still get the same error(s). Any ideas?

I have success with my firewall. Mcafee personal firewall plus had blocked
some
java binaries. I unblocked them and the server came up. Hope this might
help
somebody out there.
