SAP PP and APO Functional Specialist
Location: st.louis, MO
Duration: 6 months
Scope: Looking for a talented consultant to work with us on our
production support and APO upgrade until May/June 2011.
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Provide internal consultant and production support of Production
Planning and APO.
• Work with the business teams to develop and maintain the necessary
SAP configuration in support of business process requirements.
• Deliver detailed design specifications for system solutions.
• Perform SAP configuration.
• Design and maintain interfaces to SAP and APO (CIF).
• Develop any new user documentation and conduct user training.
• Document functional design specifications for required ABAP
programming to meet business requirements.
• Fully integration test delivered solutions across system modules and
functional areas.
Competencies/Skills of the Ideal Candidate:
• Hands on experience with APO upgrade preferably APO 7.0 or higher.
• Minimum 3 years experience working in an SAP environment supporting
one or more SAP modules is required.
• Business/Technical degree (i.e., B.S. or M.S. in MIS, Business
Administration) is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP applications including configuration
of a module to perform a business process, relationship/integration
points with other modules, data hierarchy/management, and
troubleshooting/problem solving.
• Hands on experience with APO Demand Planning, Supply Network
Planning, master data, and Production planning.
• Ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks with conflicting
priorities.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Capable of influencing and advocating change.
• Ability to effectively set expectations and deliver results.
• High degree of self-motivation, excellent communication and
interpersonal skills (verbal, written, electronic).
• Strong technical documentation, problem solving and analytical
skills and working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Project, Excel, Word,
Access, PowerPoint)
