Job Title: Kafka Developer
Location: Kentucky (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (C2C/W2)

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Developer to design and build scalable, real-time data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, and streaming applications
• Design and manage Kafka topics, partitions, and cluster configurations
• Integrate Kafka with downstream systems and big data platforms
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kafka performance and throughput
• Implement security, data governance, and high availability strategies

Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry)
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python
• Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred:
• Experience in Healthcare domain
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
