Job Description – LabWare LIMS Developer / Engineer

Location: Kalamazoo, MI (Onsite Preferred)
Type: Contract / Immediate Opening

We are looking for an experienced LabWare LIMS Developer/Engineer with strong expertise in laboratory systems, integrations, and workflow digitization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and enhancing LIMS solutions to support business and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, customize, and enhance LabWare LIMS solutions
• Design and implement laboratory workflows and digitization processes
• Integrate LIMS with external systems such as lab instruments, ERP, CRM, and web services
• Develop and maintain APIs using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with ISO/GLP regulatory standards
• Participate in testing, validation, and automation processes
• Troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in LabWare LIMS configuration and customization
• Programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript (Node/React), SQL
• Experience with system integrations and APIs
• Knowledge of laboratory processes and workflow automation
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO/GLP)
• Strong understanding of code quality, testing, and automation practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with lab instruments/sequencers integration
• Exposure to ERP/CRM integrations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
