Can't remember if I posted about this before, but I thought I'd post
again after talking about this species with Kit at Fairchild over the
weekend.

It's a small diameter palm, ultimate height unknown (to me at least).
It's gaining in popularity in FL, now available in Home Depots
locally. It's apparently showing up in CA as well, though it is
apparently not particularly cold-hardy.

uggh not another high fertilizer demanding, messy palm to be overplanted here.. We still have waay too many Queens.
 
What's wrong with crownshaft palms I ask you? Nice neat fronds that fall off in one piece.
