Hello.  I am trying to put WebIOPi v0.7.0 on my Raspberry Pi B+.  I have updated the OS, the dev tools, and Python setup tools, but I still get an error.  Help me install this please.

after running this wget https://bootstrap.pypa.io/ez_setup.py
to update the python setuptools, it ran much slower when looking at the header files, but still does not work

Hi
Had this same problem ages ago
sudo apt-get update
Followed by
sudo ./setup.sh
Resolved the issue for me (that's assuming your installing on Raspbian)

yes, I've done that already.  If I install the program on the pi store, is that the same thing?  I cannot run it from the store either.  I get a http:// error.   I am not using a static IP Address, could that be part of the problem?

Sorry no idea regarding pi store, not having static IP address should not make a difference, are you running 3.12 Raspbian dated June 2014 to work with b+ ?

Anyway my advice would be to start again with a fresh install of Raspbian wheezy 3.12.

After that's installed do:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get autoremove

Don't load anything else until after webiopi is running successfully.

Then down load WebIOPi-0.7.0 again unzip and copy the WebIOPi directory to the home/pi directory

cd into webIOPi directory and enter sudo ./setup.sh

Hope it helps
