@ivo: can you add the CalDAV calendar by hand? or can you add it to the
startup-database?
btw: It was running since February, I thought it was supposed to restart
every night? I'll ask Thijs to check out the cron. Anyway, the good news
is that the duration-test succeeds :)

I've restarted Tomcat.
Installing Webical is pretty straightforward. Great for testing ;)

Hmm, IIRC Davical has a bug that prevents Webical from using it:
http://blog.webical.org/archives/27-New-caldav-plugin-release.html
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1900920&group_id=179845&atid=890785
Not sure if the behavior you are describing is due to this bug though :)

Same here. I have restarted Tomcat, which resets the demo database.
If you can spare the time, have a go with 'supported' CalDAV servers:
- Chandler projects hub.
- Chandler desktop 0.7.1.
- Apple calendar server on linux.

I found both apple calendar server (the open source version) and the
chandler server quite easy to set up. The apple server does have some
specific filesystem requirements though so if you want quick and easy
go with the latter.

I think it is something that should be fixed in the CalDAV plugin or in
the Webical plugin architecture. Please file a bug.

Have you tried to install plain vanilla Webical with WebDAV? The CalDAV
is still experimental, so that might be messing things up for you.
> Is there any schedule, when the next release will be out?
Not any time soon I am afraid. Webical itself is pretty stable. We don't
have the time to work on the CalDAV plugin ...

Which would be really cool! But unfortunately we don't have the time to
work on stabilizing the plugin :( It is not hard work (for an
experienced Java developer).

I have restarted Tomcat and it is working OK again. My guess is that
CalDAV plugin messes it up.
I am sorry that you are having so much trouble with it. I would suggest
to install it yourself and see where that leads you to.
Sorry for the slow response to your problems. We're terribly busy at
the moment. We do however have a new developer interested in enhancing
webical. He'll introduce himself later on. I myself have no time
whatsoever atm and this will probably not change until august. I do
plan to support other developers interested in the project in the
meanwhile, so if people are interested they're most welcome.
