Webical Integration?

Hello,

Just stumbled upon webical while searching for a wicket-based
calendaring code. Checked out the demo and docos, as well as the
source. It's great! I hope you wouldn't mind pointing me to the right
direction on integrating webical with calipso [1], to

a) provide calendaring for users (including some calipso-related info
like task deadlines) and
b) asset scheduling (e.g. for booking a meeting room)

It may even be interesting to 'calendarise' any entity within calipso
(users, assets, organizations, teams and so on).

Now, considering calipso is also wicket based, what is the best way to
go for this? My gut feeling is an SSO/CAS should be used along with an
API to publish/modify calendar events but is this possible with the
existing plugin? Any other approaches worth considering? We wouldn't
mind working on a bridge that would give us exactly what we want.
