chromium OS not a forkable option

I agree that CROS is a horrible choice to fork as there is a lot of
hardware specifics to it. But the WM that was spoken of is something
of value if reusable. If not some other OpenGL based WM would be best
as X is a pain and is what detered me from pursuing something similar
in the past. Trying to use X to accomplish what this will be a nasty
headache. Some sort of Blackbox/OpenGL hybrid would be great if
drivers were available.
