Webian OS install instead of run

in the future will it be possible to"INSTALL"instead of running Webian
OS,I have Windows 7 on my desktop pc and am really starting to get
tired of Windows related OS's.

Hi Frank,

Yes I hope so, eventually. There are a few unofficial projects which have created a LiveCD which runs the UI prototype and can be used to demo the concept, but an official fully installable OS is some way off right now.

You can put a Linux distribution on a USB flash drive and boot that,
and if you like it you can install it. http://www.browserlinux.com/
is a small lightweight one, maybe it would be a good base for a Webian
LiveCD; Google "lightweight linux distribution Firefox" for many
others.

I think BrowserLinux ships Firefox 4.0.1 right now. The instructions
for BrowserLinux are very bare-bones, I wouldn't recommend it unless
you've made a bootable USB flash drive before.
