Plotting data to webglearth

Hi,

I understand that the API only supports markers (with the option of a custom image) or polygons.  But I need to plot something like a simple SVG circle instead.

Surely if there's a mechanism to fix points for markers/polygons it should be exposable to map lat/long to x/y screen coordinates?  

Really hoping someone else has encountered this problem and found a way around it, because other than my inability to map SVG shapes to the globe, webglearth is a perfect fit for my project!
