Hi all,

I had a bit of a newbie question that's related to an external library (Three.JS) - apologies if this is the wrong forum, given that it's a separate library that uses WebGL Loader. My question is here and asks how to convert from WebGL Loader's output to Three.JS's input for the UTF8 format: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11703896/three-js-utf8-loader.

Thanks!

Hey no problem Nemil. This is definitely the right place to ask (although, maybe I should join Stack Overflow...).

Mr. doob has been poking at me for better UTF8 support in Three.js for a while now, and I'm finally finding time to deal with some long-standing issues, including this one. I'm currently hacking away for a demo at SIGGRAPH (8/9), and I'm definitely going to look into the best options of keeping the two libraries in sync in the future. It is definitely in everyone's best interest.

So, good news is that things will be much better. Bad news is that you might have to wait ~1 month.
