Hello,
Am using Gestalt and it is very helpful in my research! However the reults page for ORA analysis has redundancy reduction methods, withoutan exaplanation about exactly how they operate.

To make sure the question is understood: I'm not asking what is, for example, affinity propagation. I'm asking - how exactly is affinity purification applied, on which set, and for what exact purpose?

Many thanks in advance and keep on the good work!

Hi Etay,

The redundancy reduction is designed to cluster enriched gene sets that share great overlaps and just show one representative per cluster in the result. The clusters can be found in a text file in the downloaded results. For the details of the method, please check https://www.mcponline.org/article/S1535-9476(20)32767-5/fulltext.
