Hi everyone,
When I ran a gene ontology analysis, bar graph shows many pathways with significant FDR but when I switch back to table to get exact values of the FDRs it shows 0, how can I fix this? Thanks.

Zeros in FDR and p-values are actually smaller than 2.220446e-16. And the smaller the better.

Hello Yuxing,

Thank you very much. Do you know if there is an equivalent value for the FDR when it gives zero? I usually plot the FDR values of the GO BP results from webgestalt.

Thanks again,
Gurbet

No, it is smaller than the precision of float numbers in the system, so R just gives 0. We just used the minimum 2.220446e-16 for plotting.
