Hello all,

I am using Selenium .net bindings 2.24 and chrome driver win 21.

It is giving me error on Windows xp and vista.

Test is passing, but for each test it is saying Chromedriver.exe stopped working and an alert window being displayed. If I ran n number of tests I can see those number of instances of chromedriver in my process list.

This is what I can see in my console, when I try to run a test.

16:14:44.255 INFO - Executing: [new session: {platform=XP, javascriptEnabled=tru

ht when processing request: The target server failed to respond
16:14:46.225 INFO - Retrying request

Can anybody help me on this?

Thanks,
Naresh

Kind of looks like the server you are connecting to is down…

Tests are working fine with the older version (chromedriver_win_20)  of Chrome driver.

If I use new version(chromedriver_win_21) of chrome driver then I am facing this problem on XP and VISTA.

And if there is any problem with the server I am connecting to, test should not execute. But test is executing successfully.

Thanks,
Naresh

There was nothing related to any error in the log file.

Right now I can only guess that you are suffering from this:
