Hi ,

I have few selenium webdriver scripts which i have configured to run on a remote machine. I am using selenium grid and the script execution looks fine when the remote machine is active and is unlocked however there seems to be a problem when the remote machine goes to idle state and the system is locked. Cant webdriver scripts run on a remote machine which is idle and locked?.. If it can run what might be the problem i am facing here?.. Kindly provide your inputs.

Regards.

Just make sure the machine is never locked (remove locking "screen saver").  Problem solved.  Webdriver needs to interact with desktop if desktop is not available (e.g. locked) it won't work.

If you can run on *nix, use Xvfb (X Windows Virtual Frame Buffer).
