We know that template implementations in shadow DOM can include scripts.  But can they also include javascript libraries like zepto and mustache...I have tried but it doesn't seem to work.  Is it valid to include such libraries in your template.

Yes. The template element can include any valid html. That means you can load script tags, iframes, img, video, etc.

Note: the template element has nothing to do with shadow dom. They're just convenient to use together.
