Hello All,

I am looking for information on integrating EBS portlets into WebCenter. I have tried looking on the www for information on how the portlets behave in real life but no such luck. So a few questions

1) The OOTB portlets - Favourites and Application Navigator - present links to EBS functionality. When clicked, do these links redirect directly into EBS or do the resultant EBS pages get rendered within the portlet. I am hoping it's the latter given that it's an inline rendition however in a much earlier version (pre 2010) it used to navigate out of WebCenter.

2) Skinning - Any gotchas to keep in mind? I am not entirely sure how "skin sharing" will work and whether EBS would allow edits to the producer configuration files.

3) Does anyone have any shareable screenshots/presentations that show examples of the EBS-WebCenter integration?

I don't yet have access to a portletised EBS environment and so reaching out for any previously available information.

Best Regards,

Bijesh

OOTB EBS portlets will redirect you into EBS system. SSO should be configured between EBS and WebCenter.

You don't need to change anything in portlet producer (i.e. EBS). Its depend how did you write your CSS file. Instead of writing ADF Faces skinning, i would suggest to define the  CSS class name of the generated HTML of the EBS portlet. I used this technique in other 3rd party system.

3) Does anyone have any shareable screenshots/presentations that show examples of the EBS-WebCenter integration?

Kindly see Oracle support note about integration of EBS-WebCenter that was released on April-2012.

I don't yet have access to a portletised EBS environment and so reaching out for any previously available information.

Best Regards,

Bijesh
