Webcenter Spaces - Bulk process to rename spaces

Hi guys,
I'd need a suggestion from you.

In our env we use Webcenter Spaces with more than 200 spaces. Now the business owner decided to change the naming convention for these Spaces and asked my team to rename all the spaces Display Name( more than 200!!!!)
We're looking for a bulk solution of course, we wouldn't like to spend hundreds hours renaming all spaces.

I had a look to Restful and Webservice API but they don't allow to modify spaces metadata like Display Name.
I know that we can't do that via SQL script.
Apparently the only solution is to deploy an ADF application in Spaces that uses WCSpaces java API to manage spaces, but to do this we produce an OUTAGE, and this is not good...

What can you suggest me?
Do you know if there is a way to do that using WLST script or something similar without producing an Outage.
