I few people have been asking me about Flix on the Mac and whether an
Apple-compatible version was available. Unfortunately there isn't at
the moment, mainly because I don't have a mac, but hopefully there
will be soon. Meanwhile, someone has said that they've successfully
used Flix via a program called Parallels, which I understand emulates
Windows XP on OS X. WMware should do it too. Hope that's a reasonable
solution for now!

Any thoughts, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Yes it would be great for a Mac version but then again, if one has a
Mac OSX and up, they have iMovie HD which already has a time lapse
option within it. Parameter are limited in comparison to Flix mind you
but it might be enough.

As you know (I think) I do use Flix via Paralles Desktop and it works
great. One thing I did find out and works great for a short cut, is
after Flix made the video, I go to the output folder and open it with
the Mac's Quick Time instead. Edit what is needed quickly then
"Export" it to your favorite folder directly onto Mac. It save a few
big step of switching over all the output files and or movie etc, etc.
It works great for me in this regards and creates a better/faster
stream flow.

One great little feature to add would be an added button on Flix's
interface to directly open the output folder, and/or when you press
"OK" to confirm it video completion it would open it. Just an idea.

Regards,
Serge
