Hello,

I am using WC17 with fairly satisfaction (in the past I found and reported some real problems).

I have now found an exotic problem in WC17

I have used WC to enter the setup of my router (IP address in the FF window), as my current installed OS fails to reach the setup.

Recently my internet-connection was interrupted (later I concluded that there must have been an cable-problem outside my home), and I tried WC again to look into the setup.
However WC could not reach the standard predefined site (yours), and I could not delete the predefined content of the FF-window to enter the IP-address of the setup of my router.
So I had to use another bootable CD, from which I succeeded.

Maybe this can be solved? For the rest I can not find any real problem or security breach.

Best Regards
Jan

Hi Jan

Can you reliably reproduce this problem? Couldn't your net connection
could conceivably have "fixed itself" in the time you were switching
between Live CDs?

Don't be afraid to http://webconverger.org/debug/ to see the status of
the network interface.

Kind regards,
