Hi,

I have just discovered Webby and it looks like a good tool for me.
Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting started.
(I'm new to Ruby, so I may be missing obvious things there...)

One thing I'd like to do is have Webby autogenerate a navigation menu;
ie I would specify which pages go in the menu, and specify in the
template file where the menu goes and Webby would fill in the details.

The home page http://webby.rubyforge.org/ seems to suggest this is
possbile, but I haven't been able to figure out how.

Can anyone give me a pointer, or better yet and example of how this
might be done?

I've looked a bit at other static generators (eg, Webgen), and I can
do a menu using tags in Webgen. I imagine there is a similar
functionality in Webby, I just can't find it.

As a related request, if anyone is willing to share there Webby
website (in 'source' form) it would be much appreciated. Examples
would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Mike

ps. One thing I really like about Webby is that it can easily
integrate LaTeX via PNG files. I want to use Webby for my academic
(mathematical) website, so this is a huge advantage for me over Webgen.

I mentioned a navigation menu on my Introduction to Webby video. See if this helps you at all ...

Dear Aimee,

I cannot even begin to describe how helpful your video was.

I have spent most of the weekend trying to figure this out... and it
actually is easy :-)

For the sake of future newcomers, this would be a great addition to
http://webby.rubyforge.org/communicate

Thanks!
