Hi

I have a SignalR wrapper for ITraceWriter - you register it as regular ITraceWriter and pass in *another* ITraceWriter (something typical like Nlog or something).

What happens is the wrapper dispatches the trace in real time to SignalR clients, and also forwards it to the inner ITraceWriter for regular logging, providing a mix of typical & real time log.
Can also be stopped at runtime to cease SignalR message flow.

Interesting enough to add to WebAPiContrib or a gimmick?

cheers
Filip

I really like this sample of yours. If this were able to hook into something like Jabbr or post messages to Lync, etc., I think it would definitely be worth adding. Alone, I'm less certain. Other opinions?

I think it would be fine as its own project. If something like Lync or Jabbr wanted to take advantage of it, they could be built on top of this. My two cents.

@Chris:

As its own project under the Web API Contrib umbrella or outside?

I was thinking under the Web API Contrib organization.
