THE DETAILSVolunteering is easy. You only need 2hrs of volunteer time for a ticket. Some roles offer 2hrs of volunteer time for 1hr of work. These opportunities are mostly centered around social media, but also happen on other tabs as well. We do recognize that social media folks are losing battery life while posting and streaming for us, so attempt to compensate for that with more time. A Quick Intro to Volunteer Roles There are multiple tabs of opportunities. Our Room Hosts tab is the most popular volunteer opportunity. It allows you to gain your ticket while attending workshops you want to be at anyway. You will greet the presenter, help if there are any difficulties, but otherwise just participate in the session and jot some post-session notes and numbers for us. We are really hoping to grow our social media coverage, so if you love LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram, we've got a role for you. Use our #hashtags, post under our accounts, or yours and help us share the word and the experience. Take a look at the Social Media tab. Madison Nonprofit Day is known as a super friendly and exciting conference to attend. We don't leave that just to chance. We recruit ambassadors for the day. Ambassadors are social, willing to meet, greet, talk to, and introduce conference attendees to other conference attendees. You get to be your best social 'you' while taking people under your wings and making sure they leave the event with one or two new connections. Interested? Check out the Ambassador tab. The Conference is our country— help us give people a genuinely warm welcome. We always need set-up, take-down, check-in, and registration help. The Conference has eager attendees. They frequently arrive within 20-30 minutes after our arrival for set-up. So the faster we get things ready and prepared, the better. So help us excel. Visit the Set-up/Check-In tab. |
