We Accelerator Social Good, Are You a Social Entrepreneur? |
|
Are you a social entrepreneur? Do you know a social entrepreneur? We're looking for enterprising individuals looking to change the world, starting locally. We want to work with a diverse set of individuals—people of color, women, immigrants, the LGBTQ community, the elderly, the disabled, and more; working on a diverse set of issues— food, health, literacy, technology, art, racial inequities, etc. Whether your venture is a for-profit, non-profit, cooperative, or hybrid organization, the Social Good Accelerator will work with you where you are and move you forward. We're changing the face of entrepreneurship by changing the face of and intent of entrepreneurs. No jumping through hoops. Our application is quick and easy and takes you to the next step of our process— a telephone interview to quickly collect additional details we need, provide you with the information you should know, answer any questions you may have, and allow you to determine your readiness for this adventure. Apply! Undecided? Let's meet for coffee. You can schedule a face-to-face meeting with a member of our application committee. Just email s...@collab4good.org or call (608) 241.3616 ( leave a voicemail message with your name and phone number • this number does not accept text messages) to schedule. |

What's Happened To Date?Last year, we piloted our Social Good Accelerator (SGA) and it was amazing! We got to work with 25 awesome projects (meet a few of them below) and doing some amazing work. The projects represented an array of fields— health, food, racial justice, mindfulness, technology, and more.
But that's not all… we also got to work a variety of individuals and organizations who are also interested in changing the face of entrepreneurship in Madison and accelerating social good. So we expanded our process for developing an ecosystem that supports "social good".
We're moving forward. We're officially the Social Good Accelerator (SGA) and we're looking for our next cohort of projects to work with. Take a few moments to learn about some of our pilot projects. |
