| Be in the Room…Social Good Summit 2018 |
Join us for this energetic and engaging focus on the people and ventures of the 2018 Social Good Accelerator (SGA)— Madison's innovative social good community. They are changing the way entrepreneurship will touch our lives and you can be a part of it. |
Thursday, August 16th is the 5th annual Social Good Summit. The Summit is a showcase of Madison's change-makers where you get to listen, learn, touch, engage, share and work with. |
The Social Good Summit is the showcase event to introduce and have you engage with the 20-25 ventures that are participating in the Social Good Accelerator (SGA). The Accelerator is our program that looks for, develops, and accelerates social ventures that solve community issues regardless if they are for-profit, non-profit, and or cooperatives. We work on a readiness model and have projects from 0-5 years in age.
This year our projects address a mixture of issues ranging from financial equity, access to health and wellness, apprenticeships, development of women leaders, and more. We would like to introduce them to you and you to them. So come out and spend all or part of the day with us. |

Make a Difference in the Room |
How the Summit Works? Do good in the room your in. We firmly believe that even though the world has spun in interesting and sometimes daunting ways, that there's always the opportunity to make a difference in the space you exist in. The Social Good Summit is designed with that idea at the forefront.
We'll introduce you to projects in three different manners— the 5-minute 'pitch' presentation, the strolling table exhibit, and one-to-one introductions made by volunteers. You'll get to meet 20 or more of our twenty-four 2018 cohort. Then the fun begins. You have the opportunity to select a project and make a difference in the room— no further commitment.
Yes, we are putting you to work, but by the end of the day, you can state, 'I helped 'this venture' move forward and they're going to do great things for the Madison region. You get to make a difference, just by being in the room. |
