What I did was I created a dynamic project in Eclipse, pointed to all the required jars files and imported the file structure into Eclipse under "WebContent" along with all the compiled .class files (compiled from command line). I tried to keep the file structure exactly the same.
electricity
WebContent
main
WEB-INF
classes
hirondelle
electricity
web4j
config
tags
tlds
tomcat
I was able to see the very first page with this URL:
But I kept getting a 404 error when I clicked on the spending page:
I turned the logging on. But logging did not work in Eclipse for some reasons. But it worked when I followed the Web4j tutorial and ran the app from command line without an IDE.
Is this the right approach?
Thanks,
Roger
